District 7690 lies in the Piedmont Region of North Carolina. It stretches from the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains down to the Sandhills of Pinehurst. The district includes the major metropolitan areas of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point.

Poliomyelitis is a highly infectious disease that most commonly affects children under the age of 5. Most know it as poliovirus. Rotary members have contributed more than $2.1 billion and countless volunteer hours to protect nearly 3 billion children in 122 countries from this paralyzing disease.

Clean Water Project
Will provide clean water to a village in Bluefields, Jamaica. The shift toward programs of scale, we hope that this project will serve as a pilot and eventually we can help all of the people in Bluefields or maybe even all the people of Jamaica have reliable access to clean water!

These programs recognize the positive change implemented by youth and young adults through leadership development activities such as RYLA, Rotaract and Interact club service projects, and creating international understanding with Rotary Youth Exchange.
